Removing the red LEDs from this new slim model has to be the funniest and most lame-assed thing I've heard in a while.

But the folks at Microsoft know only too well the strong stigma attached with the RRoD on the 360. This is their way of sweeping it under the carpet in hopes it will be forgotten. This concerns me a bit.

You know, that would be ok if this was KoCocku, but it's Sankaku. There should be motherfucking lolis here, not Sony Defense force sponsored bullshit. And they have the same option, if they don't like the 360 the shut the fuck up. You don't hear me bitching about the PS3 and it's shitty ass pay service and half-assed online do you? No.

Sankaku needs to get back to fucking news that matters, not passing out the Sony Kool-aid.

According to the Microsoft Way(TM) of doing thins, I can fix my car's overheating problems by removing the red TEMP light from the dashboard.

Of course people don't intentionally move their console while it's reading a disk. (Unless they're stupid or trust their hardware... You know, like PS3 and Wii?)

My friend was complaining about his Rock Band 2 disk beind beyond recovery because of the movement of the console from God knows what. That was the original 360.

Fact is, the console shouldn't have this problem at all.

there will be another problem weather rrod or not reading disc microsoft will always have it's faults. heck even the moving the xbox destroy's the discs oh well

So they fixed the RRoD with the removement of the red LEDs.
And interresting how all the buttons on the ne X360 were changed to the same type the older PS3 models had and how she even has the same finish.

They should have taken the green light out. Leave the red one. That way every time you start your Xbox its a surprise whether it starts or not. Every day is a new adventure!

What is that Kinect port bullshit?

As I understand it, the Kinect connects via a USB port. So either in the front or the back of the Xbox. Yet it seperately lists the USB port elsewhere in the feature list.

The three year warranty was just for RROD cases, wasn't it? So now that the new model can't display the RROD anymore, does this mean they did away with that warranty?

Oh what a clever way to avoid being forced to deal with the court order 3-year. It can have the same problem's of physical hardware failure, but hey, no read lights means it's not the RROD, it's something different. Yep, not trying to weasel out of it at all.

First of all. They didn't bother to even change the disc drive perhaps. The slot-loading drive is the most secure of the two types and PS3/Wii know it. Also, I love how they FINALLY put built-in Wi-Fi after ripping people off with their 100$ product. >.> Way to go M$.

That's a pain... {albeit not one that will affect .that. many people} Can't imagine that it would have been that big a deal to leave one port in Microsoft!!

It feels like I'm the only one who noticed other details including the fact that it uses LESS POWER, according to its schematics. Of course, no one would bother to look at the other information and just jump on the "Let's bash Microsoft!!!11" bandwagon.

I'm a total Microsoft Loyalist, so I'm really being willfully naive when i say this. The problem could have been due to to the size and that LED, maybe now it will be okay!
