A survey of Japanese women asking what they would do if a man they liked became engrossed in Love Plus gave surprisingly tolerant results – 72.6% would like them all the same, they say, whilst 27.4% would dislike losing out to an idealised virtual girlfriend.
A sampling of the opinions offered by ladies responding to the survey:

The only reason the some of the wives are against Love Plus is cuz they don't have their own. Seriously they should make an otome equivalent to Love Plus. If the boyfriend doesn't make a big deal out of it, there's probably no reason for the girl to. A lot of the cases of women dumping their husbands for playing Love Plus are ones where the guy starts making comparisons and really falling hard for Nene, and in such a case, he probably doesn't care for the woman either, so it's in both parties' best interest.

More likely than not these women are just as broken as their men, except it's acceptable to be OCD about consuming material goods, as opposed to the negative of trying to get emotional gratification from a video game.
Why would Japanese wives mind? They'd continue to get their pay while having to spend even less time with their husbands. This would free up extra time for watching more television and doing more lounging around.

Well I dont find her ugly, but I really don't get LovePlus in general. Not because of what the game is, but because I dont find any of the girls particularly appealing or memorable in any way. They all just seem so bland to me.
