I still wonder how Apple can get away with all that. They sell shit at the price of gold, developing for an Apple is a nightmare and their customer support is shite.
And still people buy iProducts.

I can live with a "no nudity" criteria on legal grounds or age rating enforcement, but the levels of hypocracy are wild; I've been finding first-party romance mangas (PG-13 at worst) appear only to disappear a few days after approval even now. Standards seem random and almost as though different moderators randomly approve/deny things for fun.

By contrast, there are a hundred "social networking" apps marked 17+ that have nude or semi-nude user-uploaded pics from persons identifying themselves as 13, 14, etc. Why can, say, a 10-year-old can purchase "69 sex positions" without any control, or a convicted sex offender can find a pic of a tween in a thong (openly labeled as such) from non-moderated uploading inside apps vs things like this partial nudity app banned. I could go on for a week.

Any level of consistency and I'd be happy. I'll surrender a will for Ecchi or visual novels/manga the minute Cosmo's sex tips and "hot sex stories" apps are banned. I know I sound like a paranoid parent (I'm not) but I only really care for balance.

I synced the app to my jailbroken iPhone 3G but it wouldn't launch. It starts to load and then just quits. Damn =(

Suicide Girls had a similar app banned. It was called the Flip Strip and it was similar in that it had a clothed posed model and when you flipped it was the same pose with her in her underwear or tastefully covered. Apple did the same thing to it a couple of months ago and removed it without warning after it had already been approved and been on the market for months.

This is why I will never get an iPhone or iPad.

Hopefully Kodansha and SG will both decide to rework their strip apps for the droid!
