Well this is not the largest summer house I ever seen. I've seen larger house in real life. well a house of some badass politician anyway.

Looks to me this is not only Mugi`s holiday house, but also a central building for a beach holiday village. Mugi`s family have this for earning money too, those small huts are for paying customers, people who can`t afford own beach houses to rent. They maybe pay for using swimming pools too.
So with enough customers, this luxury beach house eventually pays itself.
I am a little disappointed that music room does not include proper musical equipment as shown in anime: Ludwig drum set, a big Marshall guitar amp & speaker cabinet stack, Ashdown bass rig and VOX XL30 guitar combo, plus keyboard, probably Roland with amp.
Edit: at least one of 2 building groups close to Mugi`s main house belong to some other rich family, if you look how streets are drawn in pic 4.
I couldn`t no longer edit, so i say that drum set in music room doesn`t look as that in anime. I saw a bit of keyboard later, but it`s not clear what brand.
Other house group, with street in all sides belong to a painter or similar. That almost white building rounded in other end looks to me as painter`s atelier.
Other group of houses most probably is owned by Mugi`s family, and used by their quests. It has no own garage, but the main house`s garage has place for many cars.
fuck... this is sick, i mean, I love mugi-cham, but this is too much.....

There surely is many very similar beach mansion complexes already in Japan. KyoAni has most probably used an existing one as their location model in anime. And this otaku architect has researched which one it was, then photographed it, some pc work to transform photos to 3D models - there you have it!
They have done similar things many times before.
Indeed, those wooden shacks outside are already probably bigger than my house :(

To JohnHayabusa: You`re totally right. Too bad that almost all dojin artists nave some unknown males in them, never seen either in 4-koma or anime. Only rm gabou`s art treats this title in correct way. K-On! is clearly meant as a yuri thing, let`s keep it that way.
The mansion is about 10-15 cars length. That's like a block even in North America. I don't think it'll fit in Sims3.
I'm deeply amused on both Mugi's wealth and the modeler's ability in modelling some detail of her house..
Then again I'm in deep awe on how Mugi's able to stay humble albeit being this rich.
Mugi hasn`t experienced other life than being filthy rich. So she doesn´t have any need to boast of herself.
Furthermore, she is always surrounded with her yuri objects, that keeps her happy and smiling.
