The upcoming BD and DVD editions of Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance have introduced an array of DVD extras, including new scenes, but what has caught the eye of many fans is the curious attention paid to Mari‘s skirt in the enhanced edition – visible above, with the theatrical version on top.
Just what the intended purpose of such an upgrade is remains unclear, but the most obvious explanation is probably the correct one.
