Angel Beats has made a splash in the latest Newtype character popularity rankings, knocking Nagato off the top spot with Yuri coming top and Tenshi scraping in at 10, a state of affairs some fans angrily decry as being the wrong way around.

Kazane has voiced OVER 300ish (nearing 400) eroge roles. THat's a LOT of work already done.
As GHS pointed out, Kazane/Sakurai Harumi voices tsunderes. Basically, she's the tsundere queen of H-games whereas Rie Kugimiya is the tsundere queen in anime.

Not to mention H-scenes are only a small fraction of the voice acting in most decent eroge that isn't garbage.
At least she does a good job unlike someone named "Aya Hirano" who fails.
If you don't know, Kazane is one of the most popular eroge seiyuu around, specializing in tsundere characters (course she can do others too). Too bad I keep forgetting her real name.

Bullshit. Yuri is a completely two-dimensional character, with nothing making her anything other than some eye candy. I really don't get how the fandom instantly drools over any woman in a leading role no matter how uninteresting they may be. The same goes for Angel, but at least they gave us some reason to feel sorry for her, even if they haven't made her a good character.
Because the fandom doesn't want realistic or ideal women, they want plastic-looking things to fawn over and idolize. It's about teenage wish-fulfillment, nothing more.
