Japanese web MMO sim “Destare” has earnt itself notoriety for some unusually cheeky plagiarism – rather than go the trouble of making their own backdrops, the designers opted to sneakily take screenshots of Oblivion and use those in the hopes nobody would notice.
The comparison was posted to the game’s forums but as yet no response from the publishers has been heard.
A cheap looking PV:
The game’s only other vaguely distinguishing feature is that it apparently allows heroes to be obtained through seduction and torture – even such exciting features seem unlikely to rescue the game from total obscurity, although a sufficiently flagrant example of plagiarism could earn the game some notoriety.
Not unsurprisingly, it transpires that the game was developed in China…
Its Limbo of the Lost all over again.
Oblivion is a good rpg, and the plagiarism only confirm this
This is so awesome, because it is a plagiarism of a plagiarism!
Limbo of the Lost used the exact same method and source.
Limbo of the lost China version!
TEH KING OF LEEMBO!!!!
