@MaidNiac: There isn't any grinding or any of them leveling things in EVE.

I appreciate the impressiveness of the hardware setup, but using it to grind 12 EVE accounts is just plain sad.

having read all the posts so far, it isn't surpising that there are other dedicated players with multi accts.
If you're accomplished in the real world, you've earned the right to have multi accts, especially if you have the resources to do with as you please.
Understandably, also if you know what you're doing it isn't unreasonable to have a multi pc set-up.
Of course, for power management, you would have to have a seaperate fuse box, just for the game alcove. different bundles goes to seaperate outlets. and aux back-up power. etc.
Next for the heat cooling effects, certainly that many pc's stacked obviously means you're gonna have compunded heat build up. but if you isolate your equipment, you can have it all cooled with a stand alone air conditioner, which you can get out of any department store. Simply have the A/C out vent blow directly into one side of your PC stack and have the heat vented or recirculated through the A/C unit.
If you know what you're doing, you can use multi tasking ware for the mundane things, and spend most of the real time just having fun.
If you're cooped up running your real life business, why not be cooped up in your off time too, its not unreasonable considering that you're really enjoyoing your self. Then what is so bad about it?
When you make enough to live well, its perrfectly alright to have a few dedicated hobbies.
Some people collect stuff, if you're well off you might collect cars or art, some people travel,... Well these days with terrorists and all, travelling is getting cumbersome especially if you have a family. the only way to travel without the travel restrictions is to have your own jet or yacht. Which isn't so bad, if your "gaming alcove" is on your yacht. (play for a couple hours, then get outside and fish or swim, hang with your kids, call the office attend to real life business, then go back to your game for a couple more hours - have your own routine). While your peers are busy just keeping up with the Jones. You can be your own master in all things you do.
Most well to do families are divorces any way, if not, then the waifu is either spending her share of the big bucks and toying with her boy toys, as long as you have an arrangement it isn't a problem. You can have a real life and have your gaming time too.
While the rest of us "commoners" are bustin our backs to make a living and scrounge for our hobby time.
No problemo, you have the talent, and you make the money to live well, then go for it.
You've earned the right.

Yeah he is hardcore. BUt saying a NO lifer is not true.. . He is not the only one with so many acc . i know one who has now 12 acc but 36 chars on them in one corp. Dr Blindless <--- look ingame for him. All his alts are in the same corp.

Also there are some realy interesting people in game..

I had my 2 years of a somewhat mmo frenzy but nothing that would prevent me from going out or something. Unless you pay for the items and/or have no life you won't be the coolest (?) player in the server. Not that such title is needed. I played for the fun xD

Now I gave up all mmo. Too much time spent for little leveling/money, got on my nerves..

If i were him, i would use the PCs to watch porn.

This isn't EvE but WoW, this guy played on my server. Was fun to watch him in Dal. Obviously though hes got some... issues.. ;)

If you are grindmining you can easily play (or better wait) 12 EVE account at the same time. Dont think he will fight with 12 accounts at once against an armada of other ships.
Btw i would like to have a multi monitor setup to play mmos, watching movies and chatting at the same time but dont have the money right now. :/

I've played Eve Online and that game is boring.

The only thing EVE online entails is logging in once every 2 weeks to change a skill that you are learning and then log out.
