Vania 600, an unknown artist of great skill, is introduced below – his fine works cover a variety of subjects but trains and girls in uniforms seem foremost among them.
He works under the circle Sakura Dima (さくらぢま / Sakurajima), displaying the usual sparingness with identifying information.
His works, displaying a notable fixation on trains and a superb appreciation of the power of colour, are apparently mostly general illustration for such things as doujin books and music.
As always, you can follow his work via the Channel, his Pixiv profile or his website.
I LIKE TRAINS!!!
Poor anatomy, all the girls have nearly the same faces, little to no variety. Come on, this isn’t good at all. He doesn’t even have a sense of proportion. And that third picture? How can you call that good. Lookit those eyes. I’ll have nightmares about that.
Awesome. You can tell he gets a lot of inspiration from Makoto Shinkai.
I think trains and train tracks are great ways to set perspectives and horizon points without being too bland or obvious 🙂
Looks fantastic, the art is very alive.
