I put in a pre-order for this one at hobbysearch. It was a tough choice between the figma and the nendo. But when it comes down to it, some characters look better as cute chibis while others look better as epic badass. BRS is an epic badass.
Hmm... If given a choice, I would choose neither the Figma nor the Nendroid. I would take THIS instead.
Though the Figma and Nendroid have their own appeal, they don't have the solid finishing of the fixed-pose sculpture which does not give the somewhat cheap look of the Figma and Nendroid.
One could sense a greater satisfaction translated from the sculptor and painter to the sculpture as well.

Trying to pass stitches off as sexy is yuck and more guro than sexy.
It's not guro at all, it's more like kowareta ningyou, a fetishistic deconstruction of the traditional wabi-sabi aesthetic that portrays girls with injuries.

It seems to me that the Figma figures are getting better and better in quality by each release. The details is indeed awesome on this one in particular, I pre-ordered mine already! ;)
The way the hair is painted is amazing again, but overall this isn't nearly as good as the nendoroid.

I came to notice the difference in length of the pigtails when I glance on the GoodSmile version of BRS. I felt sorta bothered for not knowing it sooner than expected. :\
