Negima!? Release Nears, Free Copies Up For Grabs

Top harem anime Negima’s complete second season is due an English language DVD release courtesy of Funimation, and once again Funimation and Sankaku Complex are offering a chance at some free copies.
The DVD’s official release is March 30th, at the kind of price point sure to make Japanese anime fans rage.
The DVD is to be uncut and dual audio with subs, although doubtless this will not appease fretting dub-haters:

the comercial was well made and the announcer was into got me pumped up for it slightly... but negima's story is too weak only strong thing it has going for is the ecchiness lmao

Too weak? Negima has one of the best stories I've read in recent manga.
You never read the manga past volume 5, didn't you ?
While the anime shows were good, stick with the original manga.
Negima anime 1, pretty much failed in every aspect.
Negima anime 2, Interesting twist but failed to hold my interest after a while
Negima anime 3, Almost too fast paced but closest to the original story so far.
Honestly if they actually attempted to make a good quality anime on Negima... it would rival bleach/naruto in length and confuse the crap out of people with the word jokes.
I never could get into Ken's other work(this series) after Love Hina.I even bought a volume of the manga just out of curiosity...not buying another one I guess.

This is both parts 1 and 2 in one. Basically the full series minus the ovas in on set. Funi tends to do this look up aquarion adn eroic age for an example.
Yes, but what does the 'un-cut' mean? That word disturbs me to think that the DVDs I purchased are cut in anyway...
look at the box i did they also say reimagined and uncut. The only thing that bugs me is the change from tv-ma to 17 up or is that just how rightstuf displays it.

And no your DVDs are NOT cut, FUNimation just likes to needlessly point out that everything they release is uncut and unedited.
This is just the whole series being brought out as a cheaper re-release in one set rather than two.

I'm really not sure if I could stand watching this SHAFTED massacre of original manga even if they paid me.
P.S. Normally I'm a fan of SHAFT's works but Negima!? is just blasphemous, IMHO.
While I'm a huge fan of the manga, I still found Negima!? to be enjoyable. Even though I was disappointed that it didn't follow the manga's plot, I was still able to enjoy the humor (though I'm still hoping that SHAFT will make a full anime adaption of the manga and not just OADs).
