That otaku got some nice shoes. And japanese cakes look sooooo good D:
All cakes look good when they're made with loooove...and possibly semen.
why do you think brides wear white dresses.
bumped for the semen
a dress made of semen?
Wow these displays weird me out...
You'll get use to it.
Welcome aboard. Don't mind the freaky displays.
Sorry to say but, that army of figures look like a shrine to pay our last respects...
Funeral PVC army indeed.
Well after you spend hours around them, anyone would get used to them :3
Appreciable feats, and it makes me rather hungry for pie...
the ones with the lights off are just plain creepy...
2ed. never thought that nendoroids could look evil.
It's delicious cake, I must eat it.
Chihaya otanjoubi omedetou.2nd prettiest after Azusa
...why ... i mean .. why??
lol i like the army of nendoroids!
And they all look basically the same...
It's 4am of my local time and I've just finished celebrating my birthday with my friends.
We ain't perfect, we argue, sometimes we are dipshits. But in no way our relationship is virtual.
Oh, I thank God, if he exists, that I could've met anyone that is alive and I thank myself I took effort to actually do it.
You say that now, but let's see how you would think once your so-called "friends" leave you for someone/something better. At least 2D don't betray. :(
The requirement of having a relationship with a real person is trust and risk of being hurt.
2-D (and 3-D plastic) idols won't betray you, but they can't give you anything emotionally.
(If they seem to, it's because you're lying to yourself.)
"Chobits"-style persocoms might seem to be the way to go (I'd get a "Sumomo", just to annoy the hell out of everybody else), but for the life-sized ones, what'll you do when she/he breaks down and you can't afford the repair bill?
Bury her, pay your respects once a year, have a shrine in her memory and eventually buy another one?
And lulz at the fail clause "you're lying to yourself)
Emotional = electric signals in your brain.
Beliving you're in a relationship is just as good emotionally as actually being in one. Likely better too.
Most of us know each other since 10-15 years ago. Some of us lived together for a few years. We know we have our faults, nevertheless when we faced final crisis we had a discussion. In that discussion we agreed it's not worth arguing over something stupid, blame each other etc.
This is because we know we won't make any new friend like that. We are too old now and we won't be able to trust new person in that way, least to say we won't get to know anyone to such extent - so we have to appreciate it.
And we already accepted that some day we will have to part ways. Maybe in ten years, maybe tomorrow - that happened for some, but didn't change our way of thinking about each other. We just meet once a year.
In the end, none of my newly met friends from university bothered coming, but that didn't hurt me in way.
If someone from my old friends betrayed me, I would be more worried about him or her rather than myself. If he or she did that, it would mean something (for me unimaginably) important happened to him or her - why would I care obut myself in such situation? If it was something good I would kick his ass and then be happy with him - once I did actually. If it was bad, I'd kick his ass try to help, which once they actually did to me.
What I went through with them was real. The bond is real. Our fights were real. Our parting will be real, but probalby not permanent - apart from being dead. Why would I regret all that - one of the two best things in my life?
The last thing I want to say is that thanks to all this I learned how to have fun from coexisting with other people, mostly strangers. I learned that they cannot give me anything what I listed above, so I don't expect it. There is no pressure, no obligation, so we can be free however we want (unless it's rude or hurts someone). I'm not insecure in most of the social situations anymore.
kwl, me b-day was on the 25 as well
I celebrated as well.
Chihaya has a very special place in my heart.
All Hail 72!~!
no wonder i couldn't find any of those nendoroids....'em otaku in Japan must have bought them all....
COMPLETELY AGREE. I CAN'T BOUGHT IT BECZ OUT OF STOCK
that girl and her mother will be the only women in his life that could give him a cake, poor freacks who do not know who is having sex with a real woman
I can not wait for the translation patch to come out. I need an idol to love. I won't pick just any idol but one that touches my heart; make me cry, make me laugh, make me wish she was real and I'll worship her with all my heart.
What fortunate person to find his faith and devotion already.
Better start on that japanese textbook. The fan translation patch is both slow and of poor quality.
If you like your idol enough, learn her language!
I think I just step in Bizarro World...
only favorite one is the last one
I'd like to know the price tag of something like this...
Army of Chi-chan, Haruka, and Azusa nee-sama nendroids?
why so ronery?
Makes me regret for not being an otaku in Japan
I can understand the celebrating and shrine building. But do you really more than a few copies of merchandise?
I understand 1 for use, 1 for backup and 1 for storage/safekeeping. Seems like this guy had 50. That's like 50 purchases of the ame thing....?
I want to see a true legion of nendroids...4000 strong... :P
Could anyone tell me how exactly otakus get so much money so they can buy ARMIES of these cute little things? I know that they are probably much cheaper in Japan than in Europe but still that's quite alot of figures.
i feel sad that i celebrated her birthday even though today is my birthday
