Japanese asked to rank the most off-putting deficiencies in grooming sure to send any date south provide a helpful list of which points of personal hygiene and fashion to take especial care of in encounters with the opposite sex.

Results for men and woman differed slightly, but both sexes agreed: dandruff and dirty nails are absolutely out of the question. Women also expressed a particular dislike for unbrushed bed-hair.

At first I wasn't sure if this would be useful to Sankaku readers since none of them date, but then I realized if any of them ever got out of their dorms/basements/away from their PCs they'd probably make all these errors. Though nerdy/fat chicks probably don't care either.

Not everyone who comments on this site is a nerd. I was just looking for "stuff", then found this site. After I read some of the things posted, I laughed. So...I decided to start posting too. Although, after tonight, I'll probably forget about this site entirely.

i think #3 means "don't drag your feet." you know, pick your foot completely off the floor when you walk so you don't hear a scuffling sound. unfortunately for me, i do this a lot.
I was thinking that as well... kind of hard to walk around while *not* using your heels.. unless you tip-toe, which could be just as off-putting, depending on gender ;)

Probably means that since you take your shoes off so much to go indoors in Japan, the person hasn't bothered/too lazy to pull the back of their shoe up over their heel and are walking around with the back of their shoe flopping around.
That's exactly right. The translation made no sense at all, so I went to look at the Japanese. A lot of Japanese people step on the backs of their shoes instead of properly putting them on; that crushes the back and makes your shoe into some kind of half-assed sandal.
i can't imagine how people can run around like #3.. it's difficult and bad for the ankles.
i would think that stepping on the hem of your pants/skirt would be a greater atrocity.

I don't know where you guys get the idea every vagoo smells like dead critters.
If it does, she isn't keeping herself clean, or there's a health issue. The problem isn't "vaginas smell awful and can stink up a room," it's "people who don't at least TRY to take care of themselves smell awful and can stink up a room". Sometimes it's unavoidable. Like camping and not having a means to bathe for a few days. Even dick can build up a funk, it's just what happens if you don't wash yourself.
So if the chick stinks, tell her to go clean herself. That's all there is to it.
