Well, if you're going to get technical, there *was* a beach scene when they were thinking about names in After Story.
I don't get why people disagree, i just stated whats fact and you act like im stingy, i find it rather unfortunate Clannad didn't have that.
uh - sorry hommey's that wasn't a beach scene, considering Nagisa & Tomoya were figuring out names, they were sitting on a log on the "river bank", near their "town" They weren't sitting at the "beach" where the ocean is located. ** the only thing that could be dangerous in the river would be toxic waste. Unlike an ocean where there are sharks, eels, snakes, needle fish, radioactive waste, toxic waste, and human wasted.
Oh, I have a list of animes that doesnt have the beach/onsen scenes:
- Fate/stay night
- Lucky Star
- Silent Mobius
- CANAAN
sure there are others.
Beach/Onsen is just a must on every ecchi and comercial anime.
I like those scenes, but sure, don't try to compare the whole world of animes. The serious and well-produced one, almost never have those.
Silent Mobius is just bad as well...

Bamboo Blade didn't.... they cut that part where they were about to enter the public bath.
They did sorta fixed it in the DVD version, fortunately.. :3
Why would they want to anyway? If the anime is serious, it's an episode when you can get some tension off by having a relaxed (and possibly fanservicey) ep like that before the next big arc. If it's light-hearted already, well, more fanservice never hurt anyone.

First off I watched that episode today, second, even though the carefully chosen angles sure look suspect, if you watch the entire sequence you get the proper context too.
Oh well, some of you cretins NEED to believe these misrepresentations I suppose.
This article isn't meant to be taken seriously, it's just highlighting a certain funny moment in anime. If people didn't get the proper context and thought they actually showed cunnilingus in an anime, then the "this isn't what it looks like!" joke would be nonexistent.

I watched the episode my self and understood what the context was, but my mind still went in the same direction as this article took it.
The rational explanation made me smile as though in relief.
Who doesn't check their friends' growth of pubic hair every now and then.
