Bleach Ripped Off by American Comic Artist Nick Simmons

Bleach fans have been outraged to learn that the comic has apparently been the subject of shameless plagiarism in the American comic book “Incarnate” by Nick Simmons.
Nick Simmons, whose main claim to fame is being the son of elderly washed up celebrity Gene Simmons, has attempted to launch a career as comic book artist with the release of his undead action comic “Incarnate,” but it seems the whole process was either too difficult or too much work, for readers soon spotted some rather striking similarities between his work and Bleach:
Leaving aside the obvious ethical bankruptcy and legal suicide inherent in such actions, it seems incredible that anyone would think nobody would notice, particularly with a blockbuster manga like Bleach.
The “artist” apparently doesn’t restrict himself to Bleach, with other artists also suffering the same fate:
Simmons is also alleged to be freely helping himself to scenes from Hellsing, Vampire Hunter D, NANA, Dogs, and others. He has yet to offer any comment on the matter.
There are currently some entertaining efforts to bring the wrath of Shueisha and VIZ (who hold the US rights to Bleach) down on both author and publisher; it seems his career as comic book writer may be a short lived one indeed.

Wondered what this was about, then I saw "Nick Simmons" and no further explanation was needed. It's not even like he's paying homage to certain manga scenes that you will see in stuff at times, either. They're complete fucking ripoffs, with the only difference often being palette swaps of characters. Hell, the art style changes depending on what he is ripping off in that particular drawing.
Seriously, how has nobody noticed this before and not taken any sort of action? With how blatant it is, it shouldn't be that hard.

okay, first of all, I don't see why this is a big deal.
Kubo was obviously inspired by the designs of this comic, however, we don't know for sure if the storyline was stolen or anything. You can make any two characters look alike if you have them in the same pose...
though kenpachi and shinji have crazy resemblances to their counterparts.

I was going to make the point that it may be an instance(s) of a "shout out" rather than plagirism, but this is clearly just a rip off festival.
I hope this guy gets sued. I hope this guy gets sued so hard that it gets national media attention and not only exposes him and his publishers for allowing this to go on, but brings more attention to Bleach and other worthy manga.

The very least is Kubo Tite has claimed he has admired Dragon Ball and stuffs like that. And I wouldn't say Kubo did plagiarised. Just look at the games/media/collectibles for Bleach. It's just damn original. Bankai/shikai/gotei 13/zero division/arrancars/shinigamis are his own content. It is really a masterpiece. Regardless the possible similiarieties.
Look back into "Incarnate" it has like? OMFGWTFBBQ 50-60% copies. So let's just say those successful ones had their ways =) And it makes their manga top notch/godly masterpiece *as repeated*

Though this guy really is just copying... i mean the artwork even looks like Kubo's. Oh and if you want to talk about plagiarism and the 'they' copied 'them' I would just like to say... Have you SEEN the shoujo manga/anime ideas?

Kishimoto would then also be a plagiarist himself since he took the Spike vs Vincent on the train scene(cowboy Bebop) & used it 4 the Naruto vs Neji fight. I think the statment here is Like the Vanilla Ice incedent where he took Queen's song under Pressure & made Ice Ice Baby & called if orginal. Kubo really didn't rip off YuYu Hakusho. But you think about in some small way they all ripped off DBZ. In Short if 1's a plagiarist then all are plagiarists

(plagiarism is as a fact,a crime when the quality of the work copied follows closely to the original AND becomes a crime when the person doing the copying know's the action is wrong but continues, and the act infringes the copyright of the original author if it is done for the same purpose as the original work copied is used for,in this case for sales...thank you law studies)
