Sora no Woto – Kanata Desperate For It!

The eighth episode of Sora no Woto provided fans with some much appreciated “ahegao” service of lead character Kanata Sorami, specifically the cute private’s long battle involving a phone and a toilet.
The episode’s opening scene does play around a bit with the plot’s chronology, but all of the following images should be sequentially correct.
For the curious (and unafraid of even minor spoilers), Kanata has been tasked with awaiting an important phone call, and thus her reluctance to leave her charge:

The cute, non-regulation dress Kanata happens to be wearing came about as a result of an earlier undergarment incident involving a priest and two underage children.

This is bound to be the episode’s most screenshotted frame.
Kanata appeals to her belated savior, Rio, to take over her phone duty.
But Kanata is thwarted by a Noël, who was oddly enough asleep in the restroom…
Kanata is then threatened by some unwelcome help as Filicia and Kureha try to pull Kanata out of a very awkward and risky squatting position…
Kanata unsuccessfully tries to tell them to stop by cutely screaming:
“Rame~!!!”
A twinkling shooting star finishes off the fun episode.

I wouldn't give to much on the opinions of trolls and idiots who haven't even seen more than 2 or 3 episodes. My only problem with the show is that the great "mystery" behind the downfall of civilization in the world of Sora no Woto will probably be something banal like aliens or Godzilla wannabes with wings, if episode 7 is anything to go by.
But it is definitely worth watching. It has proven that it's much more than just moe. The war flashbacks in episode 7 were very dark and depressing, in addition to being stunningly animated. I'm sure there will be more like this in future episodes. Despite all the cuteness, there's an atmosphere of impending disaster looming over it all...
Just a shame it took half the season to generate a story line. Kind of like K-ON! how it took them half a season to play a song that was only a minute long.
I might start watching this show now.

Not just this one, the fever scene in episode 3 (especially when Ryo tried to strip her to cool her down) is pretty much misleading too.

Why is there a fighting feeling or a silent battle between Sora no Woto and Seikon no Qwaser?
Please stop the fighting. And the 'star' falling that goes too far.
This series has gotten surprisingly well-developed. Episode 8 definitely showed me a determined and fiercely loyal to duty side of Kanata, and has detached her from her former position of "distant descendant of Yui Hirasawa" in my eyes. The lovely Filicia is my favorite character by far; her PSTD flashbacks in episode 7 brought me to tears, wondering how she hides so much pain and deep-seated trauma behind such a beautiful smile. After the twist when Rio picks up the phone at the end of episode 8, I can only wonder where the series will turn from here. My guess is that Rio is some kind of long-lost royalty, but I guess we'll see...
Iono about that, what about the apple cider? "Apple" is I guess a form symbolism of temptation or the "event getting cast out of Eden" the state of mind. But they use the apple as a liquid form. When Kanata say "it's a bit too much", Temptation when you see the priest on the women's laundry splash on clothes and than the apple cider spilled on the clothing/maybe retaliation early episode of relating to another anime with relating to soldiers, Seikon no Qwaser. The phone pops in my mind of White Album for some reason of temptation. I'm not sure about the temptation of the book when Kanata was practicing the book Rio gave when the priest informs about Trieze about being less polite" what about doujinshi pops in my mind?" The shatter bottles of apple cider "temptation" in the aftermath is frustration or anger. When you look at episode 7 of the PSTD and Lucky Star EP 23 well.. There's more to it, I think. There's two the "THE BOSS director to a certain person" telling "Sora no Woto" the story of the Owl is the harsh lectures, and Clause the "good" cop of the other stories. I'm still thinking about the "reverse" hate thing from Qwaser and "The light drawing it's victims to the abyss" from Omari Himari.
