A recent video of the “Worlds Fastest Lego Robot” devouring randomized Rubik’s Cube puzzles, in a fraction of the time it would take most humans to complete the devilish contraptions, has captured the imaginations of large numbers of Japanese:
The robot is of course described as being built entirely from Lego elements:
Whether or not the Rubik’s Cubes are truly as randomized as suggested aside, it truly does appear to be an impressive work of robotics…
Some other similar videos can be found at CubeStormer’s Youtube page.
Yes, for some. it is seldom surprising that robotics – in this case, with the combination of Lego bricks – could solve a Rubik’s cube.
For the hardware part, Lego bricks are made in such a way that they readily assemble without the need for glue or screws, probably with the exception of the movable parts.
The program shouldn’t be so difficult for a person familiar with basic programming. The trick is to discover the mechanics and logic of solving a Rubik’s cube.
The most impressive part would be a person actually DOING it and proving to humankind that it is possible, on top of other inventions of the inventor. For this, the inventor has my praise.

A robot is the fastest at something? *gasp* What a surprise!
Read the title and took a glipms at the picture and the first thing I thougt
“What is this some Lego LHC?”
then I saw the RubixCube and was dissapoint.
one more useless invention, people are strange… (c) but really it’s completely useless =(
But can you sex it?
