Sigh you guys don't understand the importance of having REAL GF over some game. When I was in sick and stuck in bed a few months ago, my GF came over and cooked me dinner and stayed over watching over me, that feeling was the most treasured and loved I ever had and now even after breaking up I still remember this and it brings a tear to my eye T_T
But the thing is although majority of Love Plus players are otaku without real gf, there are still large number of players actually got real gf and wife.
However, when you see those anon making comments such as laughing at or talking down about the players, those usually are the ones that actually do not have a real gf.
Yeah.... Well, my imouto-like GF even served me breakfast in bed. Too bad these guys can't experience what we have right now. I mean having someone to hold on to during Valentines and everyday is the most warm feeling ever....

The last dating game I liked was Tokimeki Memorial on PC-Engine/Saturn, but the movement and voice acting of Love Plus is so much better. Haven't finished yet, the gameplay is not as difficult as Tokimeki where you have to balance the relationship with all the girls. In Love Plus, I am able to ignore other and just focus on one without ruining my reputation, in this sense the game is easier. Also the variety of incidents so far is not as eventful as Tokimeki, in a way kind of one track and boring. But the voice acting is really good and make up for it. Maybe more elements will be unlocked as I play more. Just a bit hard to put down Borderlands at the moment, ha.

Not really, I didn't compete with my boyfriend's LovePlus girlfriend. I even reminded him of that he had a date with her ten minutes before the date. It's just a humanoid tamagotchi, after all. I'm the one who lives with him and get to sleep next to him at night. There's no reason why we couldn't have a nice date that day while him still tending to his game. Even if he hadn't been able to make it to the date on time resetting the DS time before starting up the game is always an option.
Besides, it has really cute characters.
It's good behavior not be jealous of a game but still i'll give a girl the right to be mad if the guy played even during the date.
He didn't have access to his DS during our date. We had an outdoor picnic. Valentine's day was on a Sunday so he had the entire day free to "date" both me and the virtual girl. Playing DS while being supposed to spend time with your partner or friends is as rude as talking on the phone with someone else while you're supposed to spend time with your family/friends.
That can also result in them having male version of Love Plus, you know...
