With the announcement that the sequel will allow relationships to carry over and will even give the girls the ability to say their paramour’s name, it seems the contingent of Japanese men forsaking real women for their virtual counterparts is only set to grow…

The last dating game I liked was Tokimeki Memorial on PC-Engine/Saturn, but the movement and voice acting of Love Plus is so much better. Haven’t finished yet, the gameplay is not as difficult as Tokimeki where you have to balance the relationship with all the girls. In Love Plus, I am able to ignore other and just focus on one without ruining my reputation, in this sense the game is easier. Also the variety of incidents so far is not as eventful as Tokimeki, in a way kind of one track and boring. But the voice acting is really good and make up for it. Maybe more elements will be unlocked as I play more. Just a bit hard to put down Borderlands at the moment, ha.
No matter how good the program is, is still a program………. it’ll never reach the level of “REAL”
