Seriously slice of life does not mean moe, yes there are moe slice of life anime out there, but they don't ALWAYS go one in the same.

It's sad people can't just take things at face value and have to expect too much from everything. I'm not a moe fan but I absolutely love K-ON! it's one of the funniest animes I've seen and is highly entertaining so who cares?! It doesn't have to be an epic masterpiece to be good.

And too all the people complaining about every anime coming out being moe (which isn't the case) how come no one was bitching when every anime was about mechas?!

well slice of life is actually only about seing a part of their life with every day tasks which is a pretty normal anime,which people would find booring becouse most of them expect more then that by seing your posts.
Slice of life or otherwise called daily life is a synonym for everything normal,repetitive and trivial happening to your average person.

Ichigo mashimaro and hidamari sketch are part of good slice of life animes and they have moe in them,becouse it belongs to their expressions that they show through their daily life

We stop calling it slice of shice once it's about something else. Asatte no Houko for instance is a drama.

I wouldn't call a character which is basically a generic stereotype or cardboard cutout good. Which is what the K-On girls in particular seemed to be.

You are forgetting the key ingredients of slice of life Anime that make such shows great.

Characters and Humor.

Both K-On! and Lucky Star are quality series that have both great humor and characters.

I don't really know why people are so of putted by Moe. Seriously, other than Art Style, it doesn't make a whole lot of impact.

Fans nowadays get irritated too easily and cannot enjoy something for what it is.

Even if you don't enjoy a certain genera or type of show, no one's forcing you to watch it.

Also, didn't your mother teach you? If you have nothing good to say don't say it. People do get insulted when you dis their favorite shows/Animes.

Insulting people stupid enough to be insulted in the first place by badmouthing their favorite anime is kind of the point. Also, characters and humor isn't really whats making a slice of shice anime. It's moe, nothing else. And the real thing about slice of shice is the "nothing else" part. You call a show slice of life, if you can't call it anything besides that.

The other 10% of anime are reasonably good that I can't give up anime.
