I'm actually kinda jealous of these guys, they have so many figures..
Maybe I'm just too optimistic, but I like to assume that at least some of these photos were just taken for fun and the people really do have lives apart from their hobbies. Who knows?
I ask myself, If I would be a hardcore Otaku. Why would I take those pictures of my personal actions. Would it be because I KNOW that what I'm doing is strange and I know people want to see this. Or is it because I'm not a real Otaku, just one pretending to be and creating that Kind of stuff because I think its cool and I know others want to see this kind of stuff. Or do I just want to share my Ideas with other otakus? What is it?

This just goes to show how economic we Otaku can be. Instead of losing our paycheck to that girl that follows you around saying she loves you(r fat wallet), you can go out and buy something small and simple for the girl you know won't complain about it not being expensive enough. People don't -need- a special day. But, it's a general romantic idea for there to be a day dedicated to lovers all over. For instance, "alone time" with your girlfriend is always great, but "alone time" on -vacation- usually seems better for no real reason.
