Gundam 00 Movie Release Date – “September!”

The new March issue of Newtype magazine has given the release date of “September 2010” for the previously announced Gundam 00 theatrical film, news sure to enliven the day of many mecha fans.
The text on the left hand side reads thusly:
“September Public Release Confirmed”
The near illegible text near Setsuna’s name merely is a small bio, so it appears there is no other information given other than the month of the movie’s planned release date, sadly.
What is a given, however, is that the much-welcome and delightful otaku movie release pace of the last year should thankfully continue for some time now…

Delayed.
I didn't know Gundam 00 was so popular.
After the song and dance number that was Seed/Destiny, mecha fans were just happy to go back to something that at least took itself somewhat seriously.
I enjoyed Gundam 00, and felt it was a good mix for old Gundam fans and people new to the franchise. Also it helps that it was HD and didn't look like some anime aimed at the younger audience.
Bring out the 00 Quan[T] NOW!!!

First sezon 00 was great. COmparing this to Seed/Destiny first sezon was awesome.
Good plot(peace by suprerior firepower-kinda lame but hey it can work), Alliance use strategy and plots, even that Gundams are much more advanced you can easly see that oposition have better pilots.
Great ending(cliffhanger) and good voice acting.
And great plus for me. No fucking Kira.
Second sezon was almost like parody. Weak but still kinda fun. But not much.

Ummm... Anon apparently doesn't realize that "Winter" begins at the END of the year, I.e. approximately the 22nd of December (officially) Thus the winter season of 2010 could in fact imply that it was ment to come out Dec. 2010, making a september 2010 release date EARLY.
why are people so eager and interested in these kind of RECAP MOVIES lately? i'm sure most of them had seen the original series before. i really don't get the HYPE?!
Because this one is NOT a recap movie. It's a full on sequel to the TV series and the true ending to the series. It's not like many other mecha recap movies. It's a whole new movie.

Cant wait! I loved Gundam 00, I checked several times a day for every new episode to be subbed so I could watch it. Now I have more to look forward to. Hopefully they will make another series ^^

Kira won't be able to beat any pilot if he wasn't a coordinator fag. so kira and setsuna are in the same situation. and did you say poor gundam? well I guess you should read the system specs of strike gundam and freedom gundam when they battled it enemies. and what's up with Strike Freedom? It's way too high-spec compared to other mobiles suits. not to mention it can go for inter-galactic travel with its engine. Whilst Setsuna only evolved into a pure innovator at the late part of the second season, this means he used only his gundam, the trans-am which has a short time, and his own skills to defeat enemies. They had to face consequences and had to go in suicidal missions to justify their cause.

Though the best pilot in season 1 was probably the Hallejuah/Allejuah combo (two people in one mind practically).
But anyway, if Setsuna stopped repeating GUNDAMM all the time, and Allejuah MARIIEE. It would be a lot more enjoyable.
