It seems some K-ON! otaku are irredeemably gripped by Tsumugi-mania – here one can be seen compulsively buying Mugi Takuan, with at least 100 packets visible and two boxes at the top of the frame.
And yet this is but the latest in a long line of such afflictions…

Part of me is just glad there's another Tsumugi fan out there. One with too much time/money on his hands, sure, but a comrade all the same.
I like Tsumugi okay, but I'm not gonna buy any Tsumugi posters/food/telephones/whatever.
Though, the big K-On! cardboard boxes were kinda neat. I'd buy one of those for a dollar.
You can simply camp outside one of those stores and wait for the employees to chuck out those boxes. Heck, they'll probably be grateful to you for helping them clear away the rest of the cardboard boxes. Of course, you might have to fight off a few hobos who want to build a bigger cardboard shelter.

I like Mugi-chan............. But that's too much... Unfortunately I don't have that much money to blow on merchandise of just one specific character. I never really understood the otaku who but so many of just one item. Just one is plenty for me, and I treasure it a lot more. I prefer to have lots of variety in my collection rather then having a lot of the same of one particular item. Besides what are you gonna do with like 30 of the same cd? Play it in every room of the house at the same time? But multi-buyers also piss me off cuz if it's a popular item they might sell out so fast that others don't have a chance to get it! D:<
