I’m assuming she has no relation to the otaku ex-PM.

I would have thought an ex porn-star like her would be more affiliated with more liberal parties like the ruling Democratic Party instead of the traditionally more conservative LDP. But if even Arnold can be affiliated with the Republicans, then nothing is impossible.
