Whether an actual tattoo or some raving zealot’s fantasy, it is at least clear that there is no shortage of fans willing to go this far.

    Suck it up, religious boy. Non-religious people have been on the receiving end of pro-religion propaganda and often violent enforcement for as long as we hold written records, and probably from much earlier.

    Being vocal about your opinion on controversial issues is not the same as "pushing your opinion". Maybe you should remember what "free speech" means. Talking about things you don't like doesn't automatically make it go away.

    Nobody is telling you what to believe. You just decided to go and take it personal yourself. Don't turn your critical thinking off when it comes to your dear religion.

    If preaching a lot makes you a religion, then every social group that preaches their ideals must be religion.
    Homosexuals? Feminists? Hippies? Socialists? They all preach their convictions and try to convert others to their side. How does that make them a religion?

    Get this through your thick head. Atheism is based on observable evidence and religion. Religion is based on fairy tales and superstitions.

    Aethiests have their own church that teaches GOD doesn't exist. Don't believe me?, Google that shit. Also, homosexuality IS a religion. It's not Christian (goes against the Bible) after all, nor Catholic (except the priests ;p), nor Muslim (you'll get stoned for being gay), or Jewish (same as Christians). Homosexuality is a NEW religion. It teaches that there is no purpose for there being 2 DIFFERENT sexes, and that mankind should stop making babies. FYI, EVERYONE IS RELIGIOUS. If you say you're not into religion, then you ARE religious, you worship Lucifer (Satan, the Devil etc.). If you deny a Godly figure, then there is only ONE other option. An EVIL figure

    Atheism is a religion. It has books, it has people that preach it, it has people that try to convert you. It also operates on the faith that their is no god, as opposed to just doubting that there is.

    Atheism has more in common with organized religion than some actual religions do.

    Plus most atheists are the same sort of short-sighted, angry, ignorant, intolerant jackasses that they claim religious people are anyway.

    There are atheists who treat atheism as if it were a religion (whether intentionally or not). That does not mean atheism is a religion. Atheism is simply the lack of belief in god.

    The assertion that there is definitely no god is not atheism--I'm not sure what it is, but it's not atheism.

    I'd be perfectly happy having a sailor moon tattoo now. Some things are just classic. Besides, it's about what the tattoo means to you, not everyone else. If it's well done it'll still be pleasing to the eye, even if it's dated, so what.
