Sheeesh, anime "fans" these days really love to complain, complain, and complain... and complain... and keep on complaining again. Why not just look at the bright side; at least Shaft made both the TV and DVD versions worth watching twice. Surprised and disappointed that some of the shots in the TVare better than the DVD's? Okay, fine but if you still want to go "OMG, Shaft is so stupid and lazy!!", why don't you guys at least lift your lazy bum up, load your video editing program and reassemble the segments of the TV and DVD versions altogether by yourself?

I'm sorry, what is this? Are you SURE it's the revised version on the right? If so, why does it look SO MUCH WORSE than the original?! Almost every shot in the revised version is alternately either darker, oversaturated, washed out or simplified in an attempt to make it overstylised. Like, what the hell?!

Finally, this was by far the worse fucking episode I'd ever seen, and this is even including the other half finished episodes.
There must have been around 9 minutes of fragmented footage in this episode, the rest being black screen.
Though I must admit to liking most of the old character designs better.

It's pretty hard when you're short on staff and have a tight schedule. Still, episode 10 was pretty horrible on SHAFT's part and hopefully we won't get an episode like that again.
Given the nature of the scene did you never consider the fact that it simply was not appropriate for TV or perhaps that they were afraid it would be censored anyway?
Also there is a lot of movement just in that last gif alone. The problem with animating something like said invisible snake is not the snake itself but the result it has on Nadeko.
So "movement" is some sort of debilitating hardship in making anime is it?
Other companies must be employing genies or something since this whole "making stuff move" thing is so mystical and far out.
