I wonder what type of Kampfer Biribiri would be? Would she get a cool magic power to go along with her electric powers or would she get a badass weapon?
Nah, she's already powerful enough as it is. If she does become a Kampfer, her ability should give her an ability to summon a lightning storm by will since this is the one thing she still can't do with her electrical powers.
I mean, seriously! With just the basic ability to generate electricity, she has come up with creative things like manipulating electronics, generating chainsaws using iron sand, firing railguns and general manipulation of electromagnetism. She has already done most of the things imaginable with electricity. Her clones even use their electrical powers to send data to each other and generate what is essentially a hive mind!
But still there more powerful espers like Accelerator and special non-espers like Touma.
But still there is more powerful espers like Accelerator(the first strongest) and Teitouku(the second strongest) and some especial cases like Touma.
None are as creative as Misaka Mikoto as far as powers are concerned. Accelerator's powers is actually quite simple: deflect everything away that is thrown at him. It's overpowered, he could change the vector of everything meaning anything with a mass or energy will never be able to touch him for as long as he does not allow them to (unless you have Touma's right hand). I doubt Accelerator ever has a lower level ever since he got into the program. That's a level 5 on the get go.
Touma IS an esper, it's just so happen that his powers are undetectable, can't be measured and has no mundane use beyond neutralizing the supernatural that he is labelled a level 0, which is a pretty inaccurate assessment.
Misaka Mikoto may not be the most powerful esper, but note that she has already utilized her electrical powers in almost every way that is possible. Being a Kampfer isn't going to do much to help her when she has almost exhausted her possibilities. If she wants to go higher, she might probably need to be a physicist herself and research more about the application of electricity, though I wonder how successful that is going to be.
She has thought of quite a lot of ways to use her powers. I guess having electrical powers helps her think faster than most people.
I guess that's what she meant when she mentioned that she worked hard to get to Level 5. She might possibly have spent alot of time studying physics just to get a pretty good picture about electricity and all its possibilities.
