Three years is in the gray area when your 18 and your girlfriend is 15. Depending on where you live it might be considered Child Molestation and you could be arrested for Statutory Rape for any sexual acts. In many places a 2 year difference is considered safe/legal, but a greater difference is not. It would be good for you to learn the legal language in your area since you might not be in the safe zone.

Wrong. The Age of Consent in the US varies from state to state. In at least half the states, the legal age is 16, and no not just in southern states :P Also, in the state of Hawaii, the AoC is 16, however, someone aged 14 and 15 can consent to sex with someone less than 5 years older than them. In other words, 18 year olds can have sex with 14 year olds and 19 year olds can have sex with 15 year olds.

If you're 15 and she's 13 in some certain places that is grounds to brand you a pedophile. However as you are both minor your record would be locked up, unless there's some clause that say the perpetrator will be judged as an adult.

lolicon/lolicom refers to "lolita complex" and typically refers to men (or women) who like girls under the age of 18 and with a flat chest.
Not a direct definition, but one that's passable, regardless.
Personally, I feel it's fine to like girls/boys that young if you are close in age.
After all, it's natural to look at people like that when they're similar to you, and if they're just a bit smaller or younger, it's more of a natural preference thing than a mental problem.
But if you're 30+ and you're looking at girls under 15 with a dangerous sexual impulse, you should at least critique yourself and try to consult someone as to why you feel that way.
Some people like younger children mainly because they're innocent and pure, and they're not going to throw surprising fetishes upon you, so you can have casual fun, too.
Besides, some people just like "cute" things, while adults usually have to act the part out and it's only natural for children to actually be "cute."

So lolicon can, and from a legal stand point, is the early signs of an individual seeking a means to at out their sexual impulses. But given that everyone that looks at lolicon has not committed a criminal offense, then it leaves the door open to the idea that maybe people can experience sexual fantasies and maintain normal social behavior (i.e., not acting out any inappropriate sexual urges). As for the DSM, it generally focuses on actions that are harmful as having sexual impulse toward someone who is not of sexual age is harmful, but does not reflect the social norms of a given society (the ages of consent varies from culture to culture). Lolicon is a complex (i.e., an internal process that may or may not be acted on), while pedophilia is something that for the most part is acted on (i.e., an impulse that seeks out external gratification in what it is attracted to). Now here is the kicker, given we only use data based upon harmful interactions (i.e., forced sexual interaction), and does not take into consideration data from situations that are outside of this (and in fact negates this data by then placing the child in a situation where the social norm of the interaction was inappropriate and harmful is pushed onto the child so that, in the harmful fashion they are accusing the adult, they are imposing on the child, and in turn manifest what they seek, supporting the reality of the belief). So, this question, although debated, does not show any sign of a clear answer. I recall hearing an individual describe a girl who indicated that she was an older guys "best lay" and so ended up being diagnosed as bipolar, and the guy a criminal, which both, despite treatment, did not end with a good outcome. So, there is not clear answer, despite the data we have.

There's actually a term that no one seems to know that describes the preference for mid to late teenagers. When it comes to legal issues, it's still always referred to as pedophilia even though it's not. Although still illegal, it's mentally normal to like said age range.
