No More Heroes 2 Moe Anime Parody

No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, a free-roaming otaku hitman sim for the Wii, has attracted note for the quality of its in-game mahou shoujo parody moe anime (complete with gratuitous jiggle and nude transformation scenes), and its companion shooting game, both visible in the below video.
The moe starts at 9:25 and the moe shooting is at 4:30:
The protagonist, Travis, is actually an otaku, which should go some way to explaining matters.

Many will doubtless be reminded of GTA’s Princess Robot Bubblegum, although this comes as a much kinder and subtler stab at the genre.
Although developed in Japan, it is heavily aimed at western markets; the American version is released on the 26th, whilst an EU release is due later. The Japanese release has yet to even be announced. The game can of course also be ordered internationally now.

Err.., Touhou wasn't the first and only shooting game where you play as a human (specifically cute girls) instead of flying jetplanes in it..
Oblivious masses are oblivious, I think one of the earlier shooting games to impliment girls/humans flying around is gunbird by psikyo (1994).

his is moe anime parody done right because it could pass as a real show and way more discrete than gta's attempt. great game, too bad no one will buy it because it's on the wii just like the first one.
Touhou bullet hell parody game, magical girls based on different jelly flavors but are all named Ichigo, and Miku Hatsune singing.

I've had this game preordered for at least a month now alongside tatsunoko vs capcom it's gonna be epic. BTW if you never played the first one DO SO NOW. It's gotta be one of coolest games ever made.

I don't know if it says anything about me personally lol but I really loved the first No More Heroes game that game alone would have been my only reason to have a Wii (sold the game and the Wii when I had beaten it) If I had known their would be a second one which the first one did hint at not so subtlety I might have kept it. Fact is that game was raunchy, fun, and really easy to play without ever being boring.

Lolis, school uniforms, school swimsuits, blending kawaii/sex-appeal in its character designs, music featuring Miku Hatsune, a more modern-day Japanese setting, and a lack of emphasis on mecha elements--Now this is more modern parody of anime in Japan.
Although some of the stereotypes in the GTA parody do apply to a certain extent in anime today (especially the "merchandising" part), a lot of them were far more prevalent in the anime world during the 80s~90s.
Oh man, now I want to get NMH2.
I demand a full-blown anime series of this! With pre-release promotional figurines of all the lolis!
