Pokémon Maniac Sets New World Record

The title of world’s most obsessive Pokémon collector ever has been seized by a British lady.
Guiness have officially acknowledged Lisa Courtney as the world record holder for Pokémon amassment, with 12,113 articles amassed over 13 years.
She speaks of the trials of obsession:
“My family have been incredibly supportive considering the collection takes up the whole house, including my mother’s room!
I’ve even named the room where my main collection resides ‘Pokémon Centre Europe!’
To be in the new Gamer’s Edition and to hold a world record for something you feel so passionate about is just an indescribable feeling.”
The previous contender, an American lady with 8,000 Pikachu collectibles, seems to have her work cut out if she wishes to regain her dubious yellow crown, though she does still have a Pikachu car:

Some of the comments here sounds jealous. I mean I don't like Pokemon or Pocket Monsters...however, that collection is very awesome next to the guy who has all the gundam models in the world.
I know alot of people don't like collecting much these days with the economy the way it is. But it's really cool to see people still collecting, yet still have very little money these days to order this kind of collection.
