Police are hunting a man who robbed a schoolgirl of her underwear in the street.
The victim, a 17-year-old schoolgirl, was riding her bicycle home one evening near a station in Gifu City.
A man approached her from behind, stopped up her mouth and told her to be quiet. Throwing her to the ground he set upon her, stripping her of both her underwear and the bloomers she had been wearing under her skirt.
He quickly fled by bicycle, taking her pantsu with him, her bloomers apparently not being to his liking.
Police report they are hunting a young man of some 170cm in height, with brown hair.
