Sometimes popularity makes it apparent without them having to look something up.

Take Da Vinci Code for example. I'm sure no catholic clergy was reading that unless people who weren't catholic or were horrible catholics clamor over it.

Then the clergy would be obligated to read it to ascertain that they're not about to condemn a blameless work.

Religion is how the elite class control the masses by making them believe that there are things they should not do, not because it's the law but because God said so. Religion tries establish a popular ethical practice in communities but these often clash with the already establish ethical practices of their (the community) culture.

Religion has absolutely nothing to do with this. The references to the Orthodox Church in Seikon no Qwaser are as vague and meaningless as they are every time a manga author includes an "exotic" (to the Japanese) religion to spice up his story. Religion has even LESS to do with the censoring.

To me, it has nicely created characters, interesting backgrounds, decent & occasionally excellent animation and a developing story. Are you possibly disturbed of nakedness or/and sexual themes in it? The characters have no depths, the plot is centered around shameless fan-service.ETC,ETC.The only redeeming quality the show has is the quality animation but its wasted on this.

Полная бредовость одной половины идей и полная шаблонность второй половины просто Ну никаК не позволяют сознанию(как бы оно ни старалось, даже если бы захотело) воспринять эту штуку всерьез.

Единственное из-за чего посмотрел пару серий - очень прикольно было слышать как Александр время от времени умудряется отмочить совершенно не в тему ченить по русски - "борщ, вкусно, хорошо"... нечасто такое услышишь :))

Я вот думаю, может он со временем разовьется, проапгрейдится и начнет материться во время битвы ? xDDD

I'm a simple Russian guy not very obsessed with religion(i mean with church)... I accidently saw it on niconico. Deam, i haven't seen such a crap for a long time(maybe i'm not very fluent with jap so i dont get something ?)
I mean the plot is somewhere between madness and idiotism. While the pantsu service was done so awfully stereotipically. No fun seeing same ass fullscreen for every 2 minutes.
And this milklicking totally killed my attempt to keep serious about whats going on.

well, i was inspired by hearing some russian words though, such as borsh, horosho, vkoosno.

I wonder if there gonna be some rus-lang badmouthing ("mutt" - мат) during tha battles.
