Pornstar: “Games Harm Kids More Than Porn!”

Hirsute porn legend Ron Jeremy recently accused games of being more dangerous to children than pornography, speaking at the “Great Porn Debate”, an event held at the Consumer Electronics Show.

“Studies have found that violent video games are a much bigger negative influence on kids,” he said, comparing them to the very industry which made him famous, and apparently failing to cite which studies have found porn to have a negative influence on children.

Some of Jeremy’s most reactionary comments at the CES were from his denouncing of games as being an unfit method of child-rearing and calling upon the bevy of technology the porn industry employs to deter children from viewing the material:

“Because we make porn, we are the bad guys. We don’t want kids to watch porn but yes we recognise that it happens… Parents should watch what their kids are doing online and take some responsibility. Don’t blame us. We have disclaimers, age notifications and software blockers. We are doing our bit.”

Given the search trends of the younger generation, these efforts seem to have been futile.

Jeremy, a former teacher and veteran of over 2,000 adult movies, has also been vocal in criticising the Internet:

“I am a former school teacher, I have a masters degree and two BAs, and I think the Internet is making people stupid,” he said in an interview. “I just hate the Internet in general.”

Jeremy believes schoolchildren don’t have a desire for the old-fashioned ways of studying or research, when all that can be completed with a quick search online: “We could be giving rise to a generation of idiots.”
