Final Fantasy XIII’s development process appears not have been quite as thorough as might be hoped – a rather severe bug has been uncovered:
For a highly linear console game developed by a team of several hundred it seems rather curious that such a bug should survive the testing process; just how hard it is to reproduce is not clear however.
Anons 1,2, and 4 are correct. Falling out of a map (where there are no textures) will cause you to see endlessly into the skybox, without anything to overlay or go against; every frame that is rendered is not dropped producing that “sticky-mirror” effect. This is common in all games, therefore is not a “glitch” or “bug”.
I blame it on the chinese.

Wow… Good thing the 360 owners get to benefit from the PS3 beta testing of this game… They oiught to have that fixed by the time it hits the States…
