    Because most of what I've seen has been renditions of shows or stuff that wasn't originally moe.

    I understand wanting to see a character of a series you liked in a different way, just seems like wanting to turn the Colossus, that were never something that was meant to be cute, cute. And considering it wasn't really done in a patronizing or ironic manner, I find it annoying.

    Not exaggerating, but lets just make everything moe, yeah, and rid the Anime communities of the originality that once flourished. meh

    Uh. So what?

    SotC is a brilliant game. So what if they make a moe doujin out of it? It's not like the game suddenly became bad; it's a separate entity. It's not like they actually change the colossi into moe; it's only a doujin. It's not like the artist is saying; "SotC should be this way"; it's only a parody.

    Moe Gone with the Wind? So what? Ridiculous? Of course, but so is Jesus x Buddha H-doujin. It's rather too late, irrelevant and missing the point to complain about ridiculousness of doujin.

    I don't know how you suddenly arrived at the conclusion of dwindling originality just because of parodies; it's been there since the very beginning.

    @Anon 19:48: It's not precisely the same, "sexyfying" stuff is one thing, but rendering everything in the same aesthetic style is just poor and gets old real fast, which is also part of the reason the whole "anime/ manga bubble" has burst: because creativity and, with it, variety, are getting slaughtered.

    But yeah, time to "moefy" CowBe, too...

    Jeez calm down. Can't you just enjoy the pretty pictures for what they are? If it wasn't labeled moe you'd probably just consider it unusual but well-drawn fanart and be done with it.

    Also, the only bastardization I'm seeing here is the use of the term 'moe'. People use it in ways that have little to nothing to do anymore with it's original meaning...

    I'm perfectly calm, but you seem to know me oh-so-well(sarcasm in case you don't pick that up). I can't really find them 'pretty pictures' if I think it's belittling that which it's representing. It's not like I wanna kill the guy that did it or make him stop. I just find it odd. Sure, make a moe version of a haruhi character or a vocaloid. Makes sense when you think about the original and it's personality etc etc etc. But a massive earth/stone based creature meant to obliterate all that stood in its way, now has tits?

    I think you meant if I didn't know of SOTC or had it been original I'd have ignored it being odd. But that's not the case, remove Moe from the title, and I can still clearly tell it's from SOTC lol. Now had that been the case and I hadn't played SOTC before, sure I'd ignore it. Anyone that doesn't know of the original source would, just like someone who didn't know Oceans 11 was a remake would think it was a new idea (-.- not bagging on either version of ocean's 11) but that's another debate for another day.

    I have played the game(awesome but no game I've played was "brilliant") and I think this is cool. It reminds me of the anthropomorphized versions of the angels from Evangelion.

    Same here. Just get an HDTV and wanted to test the graphics with this game, because I thought this game does 720p(turns out it only goes up to 480p). Graphics looks pretty bad when upscaled. But at one point it was the best looking game on PS2, the game design was innovative too. Hopefully there will be more games of this type.
