i think there will be a storyline this time since its an adaption of a light novel.
Why do all his protagonists look the same? Why do they all have that STUPID look in their eyes? Does he just like drawing shy shy boys as harem owners?
I prefer the light novel art. Got tired of ToLoveRu's style.
Yeah, unfortunately, the original art looks more... appropriate for the characters. I'm still looking forward to the manga, though. Kentaro Yabuki deserves to get back on his feet and get back the fans he lost in the whole ToLOVE-ru debacle.

Same here. I never read the light novels, so I'm hoping this manga has a lot more plot that To Love-Ru. And that the anime isn't handled by Xebec.
Don't worry...the anime adaption is by AIC (the studio that just done Sora no Otoshimono), so it is going to be in good hands. It has a decent seiyuu cast too.

Well, Jump SQ is a monthly manga magazine, you it's not gonna be a weekly release for this manga but monthly instead. But I guess although it is monthly, being serialized in Jump SQ (targeted at older readers) instead in Shonen Jump (targeted at 13~14 years old) will have the advantage of less likely getting axed because of low ranking in the popularity voting (because of kids too embarrased to admit they like ero/echii manga more than others).

If it was authors like Hunters X Hunters' and Berserk's authors who constantly slacking off their work to play FF and Idolmasters, then complain by all means. But Yabuki hardly taken any breaks during his serialization of To-Love-Ru...even during the hard times his ex-wife cheated on him, going through divorce, fighting for the custody rights of his two years old daughter...that's pure professionlism and dedication to his manga and the fans. Although the burden eventually became too much and he had no choice but to end the manga, nobody really is blaming him...in fact, he got more supporters than ever (even those who are not a fan of his work) as an individual...and as a mangaka.

Actually in Japan, in general they do refer and consider both individuals (story writer+illustration artist) that are involved in creating the manga together as the "authors". Only when in the more specific terms would they draw the distinctions between "original" by xxx and "manga" by xxx.
Yabuki is not simply drawing accordingly to story by his work partner, but he actually have to throw in his own idea to present the story in picture form as well...so yes, he is indeed the (co-)author of the To-Love-Ru manga.
You forgot to mention that to even get nipples people'd likely have to wait for the tankobon formats to be released? Or not since it's common sense...
