Sadly, crimson comic's dojinshi usually horrible. Just my opinion though.
crimson comics is ok. i love their unique art style, you can recognize their work immediately.
Yeh, you can just go, shit, this is shit, and this too without reading it that way.
If by unique art style you mean using the same positions, expressions and angles in every single doujin then yes.
...Not saying that they aren't enjoyable, they're awesome as hell.
Personally I'd say that their plots tend to be downers. Their artwork is quite nice though.
If, only they'd use said artwork to make something a little more upbeat, then we'd be in for a real treat.
It's a bit like the Circle Jack Pot, normally they tend to focus on Yaoi.
But the few straight works they've done. Absolutely gorgeous, and funny to boot as well.
A few of Crimson Comic's games are so much better then all of their doujin stuff though.
Those j-girl fight's are so mother fucking addicting to play for example.
Sadly, Bakuman does terrible in the Shounen Jump Weekly rankings. I hope it doesn't get cancelled
You are right. Any manga that serialize in JUMP which doesn't feature 'cool characters' senselessly beating the hell out of each other and/or the infinite loop formula of becoming stronger/powering up for both good and evil side would be at risk of being axed.
Hey, they're still raking in wads of cash from all the westerners just getting into Death Note. Milk that bitch for all it's worth, then put the proceeds to keeping Bakuman up for the few that love it.

It's unlikely that Bakuman will get cancelled from JUMP because it's really popular although not high in the rankings. Even if it's dropped, some other magazine will pick it up straight away.
And the Tankobon sell like hotcakes.

Indeed Saint Young Men is the most original manga to come in those years. I would really like to see it officially translated in english. I mean, Budda and Jesus as cool roomates is a formula for succes for sure ^_^

I think there were only 174 votes for Bakuman and 149 for One Piece. This means a few people are questioned. recounting doesn't help here. What would help would be a larger scale of people questioned.

One piece is horrible. Bakuman being number one is justified by it's incredible art, storyline being semi-original instead of some shitty action crap.

I could never stand reading One Piece the character design is on par with Cyborgcat, call it the autor style if you want but Flints or wharever his name is face is a testimony of the author lack of skills

One Piece always seems to get one of the top positions in these lists. Along with a picture of either Nami, Robin or Hancock. I love One Piece and I will never complain about the choice of picture ;)
I actually started reading Bakuman after seeing this list and I gotta say, it's really awesome.
