Loveplus is actuall a very innovative game, as long as you are playing it as just a dating sim game. It only gets out of hands when people start mixing fiction with reality.
Not sure if you know this, but Loveplus is actually very popular in the seiyuu industry, and many seiyuu actually play the game. Also among those seiyuu, a few of those players are female (yay for yuri lol)
