I like to think of grammar nazis as benevolent people -- I for one don't want to live in a world populated by semi-literate fucktards. As it stands people won't bother to spell things correctly and ignore basic grammatical laws; there isn't a problem with this, not really, but I'll be damned if it isn't annoying.

We learn how to spell words a certain way for a reason. We learn how to put sentences together properly, for a reason. It's because of consistency.

Why do we have to maintain the status quo? Because if we let our language continue to 'evolve', soon enough it's going to break down into even more specific regional dialects.

We'd fragment the language, and that isn't good at all.
