The latest Japanese console sales figures for the end of November seem to demonstrate some very healthy sales for Nintendo, as well as an embarassment for Sony with the PSP Go now slipping below even the Xbox 360’s dismal sales…

The combined DS sales are nearly 3 times those of the PSP, not a huge surprise considering the cold reaction to the PSP Go and the unexpectedly warm response to the DSi LL.
The PS3 does however appear to still be holding its own against the Wii (actually outselling by a fair margin in terms of revenues, as the units are more expensive). Just what happens with the release of Final Fantasy XIII is the key question…

I think he means unusual RPG for something looking so similar to tRPG. No terrain advantage or overall tactics, just get in there and start killing.
It was sort of odd b/c I'm so used to FFT
FFT tactics was just needlessly difficult
the PS1 game would trick you into saving before a hard boss, so that you'd get stuck on it, and couldn't train
and the GBA and DS games had that annoying judge bullshit
I prefer sRPGs like Fire Emblem, Disgaea, etc.
at least Fire Emblem's difficulty isn't based on some weird game mechanic or padding

Quite a few hotel establishments are also putting their money on the Wii. I don't really see thee rational behind it but, probability its due to the games they offer.
Wii is ideal for the casual gamer. I have all 3 consoles and the wii is the least touched by me and my flatmates, however its probably the most used by our friends/guests.

I can name a few good PSP games.. but most are remakes, or spin-offs
what the PSP lacks is it's own personality, or at least a library of diverse games

Damn that's a good pic of Yuzu. Too bad all she does in the game is whine and her ending is the worst one.
Not only that, she has the worst movement in the game also. Only other person to match her's is Amane, but she's much sexier than Yuzu anyways, so that makes up for it.
probably if game producers can freely choose which console to put their games on, psp will be more popular in japan... that, or sony didn't make the mistake of making newer versions of their handhold to decrement in quality... psp1000 ftw ^^
