The latest scandalous use to which NicoNico Douga’s live broadcast system has been put is allowing a self-harmer, known as “Shigure,” to broadcast her bloody wrist cutting antics live to a horrified audience.

These girls, called “cutters” in Japanese, are as much a feature of fringe youth culture as they are in other nations (which is to say they may be far more common than might be hoped), and just as elsewhere online communities have given them the chance to form groups supportive of such behaviour, and also attract the attention which may be sought by some self harmers.
NicoNico Douga’s official response appears to be to ban such users and delete any communities promoting such behaviour, but the live nature of Internet broadcasts ensures they can only be policed after the fact, and such antics can easily attract a variety of morbid admirers (although most appear aghast).
Nico’s live broadcast system has seen lolicon broadcast their trespass into schools and girls hold sex shows for donations; just what other exhibitionistic surprises it holds in store will doubtless continue to vex administrators, and fascinate voyeurs…

It’s kinda funny how everyone’s pitying the poor girl for having issues, when they themselves obviously have issues. I mean honestly? I’m sure the good majority of people here don’t even have female friends,let alone an actual girlfriend. Then they try to justify their fapping with bullshit like “2D is better!” or “a 3D costs too much!”. Don’t get me started on the pedophilia…
Antidepressants and Antipsychotic medications (and SSRI’s) actually *cause* depression and lead to increased thoughts of suicide.

The drugs are the cause. People get sad (which is completely natural), and they go to a government approved drugdealer (psychiatrist) who gives them drugs which screw them up, make them more unhappy and suicidal. Then, the solution is more drugs.
