Whilst having a family is a perfectly optional choice of an engineer, to dive into the engineering profession without fully realizing that your job will demand your absolute dedication and commitment with minimal materialistic rewards is a mistake. Know that engineering is one of the few remaining fields in which noble and moral values are highly relevant to the job.

You guys are SOOOO guilty of wanting women outside of your league. Most of you are a 6 or less out of 10 looks and personality wise, and have little to nothing in common with the average "hot" woman. Therefore, logically, the only way for you to get any is to have enough money to convince said "hot" women to want to be around you for any length of time. I agree with that Dilbert book that I read that says that engineers pretty much are looking to eventually just replace women because the current model is flawed in one way another.
