And GITS I only watched the movies, so I didn't catch on to the Section 9 in the background of 002. The swords really threw me though, as did her outfit in 003, but I can see how it's Kusanagi now that you've pointed it out xD
I highly recommend you to watch Fate/stay night. It's one of the best animes out there imo. Franchise itself is even better though, and Type-Moon stuff in general is very good. The Visual Novel game of FSN is just pure fantastic. If you have the patience for visual novels, it's a must. best one there is.

damn, that is a broad area O_O. haven't seen anything from True Tears for a while...
Yup it's the trademark postures that's the strength. As if you can actually reach out and hug 'em. Because there's something that just 'clicks' with each drawing, even though the character styles are not that distinctive.
Not quite sure how to feel about Kawaii Kusanagi or Slutty Nagato.
But the Mikucube is a work of genius, at least.
