The burgeoning selection of DLC available for the perfect edition of Tales of Vesperia is now set to include a series of (for some) alluring school uniform costumes, from the Saint Vesperia Private Academy.
The PS3 version already comes with some terrifically difficult to acquire swimsuit costumes, so what remains to be added is anyone’s guess.
This will come as a particular blow to Japan’s Xbox 360 users, who are known to be overwhelmingly male and laden with ero-gamers…

Not in the US maybe, but in Europe yes. Plus, there have been some already translated sections in the game code, which means that translation is at least being thought of.
According to the english dub actor for Yuri, Troy Baker, when asked about it at Animefest in Texas, he said he had done some new dialog about Patty, but wasn't sure if it was for the ps3 release or if there would be more voice acting sessions or not. So it looks like it may very well make it to the west after all.

They ALWAYS do this for JAPANESE. Not fake ass weaboos across seas. They didn't port it to PS3 for PS3 fans either, so get a clue you tool. They did this for JAPANESE fans, as JAPANESE people prefer JAPANESE consoles over US consoles. Also they know they can add any price tag to an old game and add extra shit to buy and people will buy it.

Anyway, if non-spoiler costumes were available earlier in the game it'd be all well and good... But most players will either never see them or get them near end-game when it doesn't even matter.
Or the window of opportunity you can get them in is so small you're only likely to find them if playing with a walkthrough. Never liked that about Tales games.
And no, offering them from the start as pay-for DLC doesn't count as fixing the problem, IMO.

I actually missed the swimsuit costumes because of the miserly way they set up the events, horrendous considering I have no intention of playing through twice. Also, you barely even get costumes until the very end anyway.

DLC gets really annoying at times, developers are usually charging you money for stuff that would have been free in the game last gen, there doing this with alternate coustumes and even characters. Street Fighter for costumes and Yoda & Dark Vader in Soul Calibar 4 are prime example of this, especially for Soul Calibar 4 because there is an empty spot for both of them in each version cleary showing that both were planned for each version but instead of getting it for free they make you spend 5.00$ on one character.
BTW guys this costumes are IN GAME! Your just paying to unlock them instead of doing it in game :P
