Vista the best for gaming?
Seriously dude, I'm running the Win7RC sice the summer. About every game I have runs a hell of a lot faster on it then it did on Vista.
In other words, don't discuss about something you don't know a thing.
I can only imagine hoe perfect every game will run as soon as they are actually made for win7...

Wow ;] all test are showing that win7 is equal or worse in game performance . I've Vista and freshly installed win7 on another rig with the same specs and i dont see any diffrences in performance ,even with fraps turned on framerates almost the same .

^same here. I've installed Win7 2 days ago and went on a testing spree. I don't see and feel any major differences between Vista and Win7.

maybe it's because of the games i play. I can imagine that some might run better, that goes for the opposite as well though.

the only thing vista is good for is directx 10, everything else is either a lot worse or the same

the only things win7 is good for is directx 10 and faster reading and writing capabilities, everything else is either worse or less functional...

windows 7 RC sure made me fap more than when i had the RC for vista... i actually avoided vista for a year because of that... it ran bad on my old P4... whats funny is my x2 3800 actually ran vista fast o.O

Half your programs don't work on the computer itself, or don't run on the Mac OS? If the latter, there are ways to work around it.

Also the ways people say to get around it is to use boot camp which is just a way to run windows. There is another way to run many of the windows programs and that is to use WINE but if you want to do that I would rather suggest a PC with Linux then a Mac since Linux can have a much better interface then Mac.

PS. WINE still doesn't run everything at 100% but it is pretty far along.

I think it's more of a compatability and support issue. I seriously can't understand why people trolling MS for this particular case- I mean if the touch screen was made by MS and it fail, then they got no excuse, however here the OS and the touch screen is made by different companies.

It's kind of like the Asus Republic of Gamers Mars -hardware wise it is the fastest and most expensive graphic card (Asus is only making 1000 of these), but Nvidia's driver ain't good enough to make it run well in games for both single card or in Quad SLI.

The logic is the same here- Sony made a new product...a touch screen in this case and MS's native touch screen support have some issue with it and can't working fully at the moment. But as long as MS and Sony is aware of the issue and do something about it, some updates on drivers and/or support should fix the problem.

Besides, how many us will be getting a touch screen monitor to use with Win 7 anyway? And I certainly won't be playing FPS games with touch screen...

I think I hear this all the time, people accusing macs as toys, then complaining that there aren't enough games on them.

I've visited many offices and what I see is people getting jobs done on macs while pcs are used for games...

What do you think people play on the PC's at work? Call of duty? At least not at a workplace that has their computers sufficiently secured so that dumbass users can't just randomly install whatever they want. A large portion of games played at work are flash games, which are viewable on both a windows and a mac. :/ You're tempted either way.

Funny that macs are ridiculed as hip and trendy. All I see is a platform that is virus free, very stable, uncluttered and gets the job done.

Oh yeah, most pc users don't pay for their antivirus and has lots of free time...

You're kidding me. There are plenty of viruses for OSX, just not as many as windows because virus coders want to get as many PC's infected as possible, and most PC's happen to run Windows.

Any PC is as cluttered as you make it. You can be very cluttered with a mac and a PC if you don't organize your shit.

What you get done is equal to the amount of effort you put into it. There are plenty of software that run on windows and don't on macs.

I also don't pay attention to my antivirus much because I don't need to since I'm not stupid enough to get viruses. Stop visiting free porn websites and maybe things will work out better.

Also, any PC can run OSX if you have an average-level IQ. EFI-X ftw.

yes there are malwares and trojan horses for the mac, but there exists not even one mac virus.
