    To be fair the game is fairly old compared to the more recent Sumaga. Though I might add that the 2nd Demonbane game has improved art over its predecessor.

    It's your usual media that appeals to the socially marginalised people who don't fit into the general public majority but don't want to be identified as part of the other minority (in this case otaku).

    So they take the eroge medium and water it down for beginner friendliness → then try to make it 'cool' by spiffing it up with SF, horror/violence, paranormal cult BS and giving it the label of 'Hard-boiled'.

    Not to say that it's not good in its own right because it was obviously enjoyed by the target audience...
    Just to say that this will not be alot of otakus cup of tea. *shrug*
    (Though in this particular case, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Afterall, socially marginalised weeaboo outcast gaijins fit the profile perfectly.)

    I loved Demonbane TV, so I'm interested in buying the translated game.

    For anyone that thinks they will remove the loli, the only time I know of where that was censored was when it was in the story that the character was under 18. Usually it just says all characters are over 18, no matter how much they look like they are 12. This will probably be the same.

    If you're talking about what happened with Kazoku Keikaku, there was no real mention of the censored loli's age in the original script--JAST actually INSERTED her age in the game (thus leading to the censorship), even though there was no real mention of it in the Japanese version.

    According to JAST, while it's true the age wasn't mentioned, there was a lot of the story IMPLYING that she was underage. I'm not saying the images, but the actual story kept stating she was not of age yet, which is why they did it.

    I'm interested to see how JAST will do this one.

    Geez wiz, if they changed some of the text, do you honestly think they'd come under fire as much as they have by changing the artwork?

    After all, if they had no problems with putting in crap like the "OVER 9000" line along with other translation liberties, what's it to them if they removed the "implications" in the text?

    I didn't say there was a problem with CFA exactly, Anon. I bought it on preorder without keeping track of what it's fans/detractors may have thought first. In other words, if it was a waste of the money before I paid for it.

    I enjoyed the game myself though :). I haven't tried Family Plan yet.... medical issues first!.... but from what I've heard it's one I'd enjoy.

    It doesnt MATTER if they mentioned the character's age is 18 or not....theres nothing wrong or illegal with loli sex anyways in eroge.

    More importantly, the people who buy this game bought it for the sex anyways.

    Even more impotantly....the only people who would see it are those who bought it....and those people are NOT going to report this....ever, since they bought it just for the loli.
