As a recently started learner of Japanese I have to wonder: Why is “女体” pronounced “jotai” in the former expression, and “nyotai” in the latter? Is there any rule to follow in deciding when it’s pronounced which way, or am I only ever going to learn by rote memorisation?
I’m sure it must be nyotai in the context – I have amended it thus…
