70% of Japanese Men Have No Girlfriends

New data suggests 70% of unmarried Japaneses men in their twenties and thirties have no girlfriend, with an alarming jump of 20% in just three years for men in their twenties.
A similar figure holds true for women, with some 64% of women in the same age groups single.
The data comes from a survey asking unmarried Japanese aged 20 to 40 whether they were dating anyone, with data extending back over a decade:
Economic conditions may be one reason for the sudden increase in singles, particularly where younger, more financially vulnerable men are concerned – with dismal earnings prospects amidst a stagnant Japanese economy, such men know they have no chance of securing a wife or family, and may not even be able to afford the expense of a girlfriend.
However, this does not effectively explain the long term nature of the increase over more than a decade; it seems likely more profound social and economic factors may be at play, with many surveys citing an increase in the expectations of women with regard to their partner’s earnings as a key factor…

My first time in Tokyo I walked around with a hard-on for a couple of days. Good thing my base was in the country side. Country girls are so much more down to earth it was ridiculous. All they want is a good man and it matters a lot less what race and nation you are from. When you meet the parents they seem not to care. I even went out drinking with few dads. Though I didn't a lot of friends married Japanese girls and bought them home, some decided to stay in Japan. And no the wife did not control the money. These surveys are done in big cities if you stick to the country you see Japan is can be whole lot different.

I don't really think birthrates can go negative - that would require people to be unborn and crawl back into their mothers wombs. However, your population growth can go negative in certain cases:
gross population growth = (births + immigrants) - (deaths + emigrants)
So, if you have fewer people coming into your nation (through either being born or from immigration) than you have leaving it (either through dying or moving away) then you can have negative population growth - which is something we are seeing in an increasing number of developed countries.

Everybody is fucking lazy now days. If you want something just grab it. I for one have my standard on not dating fat chicks. But if you don't like something about somebody then why don't you just change that. And one friking easy way to do this is to get them laid. Swear to god all the girls I know are uncertain about their relationship until they did it. Now the girls can't get enough and their personality starts to become more and more like their other half. I'm not even being dramatic here. One girl used to like jpop and then afterward she listen to nowadays trash rap. And for people who disagree with this is because they are girls who thinks they are in true love.

Well with Japanese women being so parasitic for money, that's not surprising.. Unless you won a large jackpot, are from a wealthy family, or a corporate executive... a guy in their twenties is likely not making the big bucks..
