Tales of Betrayal? Namco Recruiting Beta Testers!

The latest Tales “mothership” title Tales of Graces is due for release just in time to be slaughtered by Final Fantasy XIII, but with the announcement of a Tales of Graces Wii bundle some have begun wondering if this might not signal a (PS3) port is in the offing even now…
Some observers can’t help but notice that each time a Tales game gets bundled with a console the game turns up a year later in a “complete” edition on another platform:
In 2003, Tales of Symphonia was released bundled with the GameCube, only to be released on the PS2 a year later…
And notoriously in 2008 the Xbox 360 received an “exclusive” release of Tales of Vesperia, also bundled, which found its way onto the PS3 a year later amidst much acrimony.
Now Tales of Graces is set to be packaged with the Wii. Might it not be released in “perfect” form before 2010 is out?
The real question may be why Namco feels obliged to keep recycling Tales games into complete editions rather than make multi-platform releases, although the answer may be obvious…

I kind of find it funny too how the tales series LOVES Playstation.. Even I got a chuckle.
So pretty much the first release is on the polyanna console and gets used there before it's released on a hot sexy model console. Put the PS3, despite it's hawt sexy graphics.. is now the hot and sexy super nerd nazi virgin that takes all the yummy games and ruins the ecchi content to make it blah like she'll turn out to be. Depsite the hot body.

This is why Namco is the worst game company on the face of the earth (next to Data Design Interactive).
Namco Tales Studios to be exact. Katsuhiro Harada's division loves their foreign fanbase and goes out of their way to try and please everybody (even if they don't work sometimes).

They're turning the Katamari series into a Dynasty Warrior-esque "Minor Upgrade for $60" deal, Soul Calibur 4 was notoriously broken and lacking in content, and they continuously waffle on exclusitivity, whether it be Tales of Vesperia going to the PS3, or Tekken 6 going to the Xbox 360.
Worst? Yeah, I suppose that's a bit harsh. However, I can certainly see how many people would be disappointed with them lately.

Namco, continually screws over there non japanese fans with the Tales series and also xenosaga series.
the thing is that those tales games were all made on non-sony systems.if they were made on a sony system i doubt they would be remade
If they were made on the PS3 first, they'd have to downgrade the graphics to port it.
Hasn't stopped them in the past. Graphically the PS2 version of Symphonia was inferior to the Gamecube ver, as was the PS3 version of Vesperia compared to the 360.
Sure, just like FF13 is being downgraded...other than square enix saying it'll be the exact same. Or how Bayonetta was...oh.
Doesn't affect me. Wii version will be out waaaaaaaaaaaay before I get a PS3.

The only tales of game I ever enjoyed (replayed for about 8 times) is tales of phantasia
It was released again on the PSX after 3 years (with a new character) but I doubt that it was intentional.
compared to what they are doing now, its very obvious it is made intentionally.

Graces and Vesperia are.
It's still a spinoff to a Mothership title. It's definitely not a stand-alone stand-alone spinoff like Tempest.

That would be perfect...too good a game for a shitty console like the wii.
Wii is a great console. But ic lacks in third-party games, and graphics. PS3 is also a good console. XBox 360 fails for ruining your disc if you bump it even a little bit while it's running, and for notoriously breaking down so much (red ring of death). I'l probably still get one though....I wanna play Gears of War 2, and the non-crappy version of Bayonetta.
