- Can play music(he has a keyboard, some scores and some guitars/bass). For the guitars/bass, maybe he is just another K-on fan, but I think he can play keyboard
- Has money(he as a big ass LCD TV and PS3, not to mention the TV can be from Sony)
- Fap everyday/night
honestly, i don't mind living in a room like that, except a fact that no one can come into that room, so this guy may not have any GF right now, but if he feel comfortable surrounded by 2D girls, there is no need for 3D bitches anyway
This all boils down to personal taste. If he can support his lifestyle and it makes him happy why in the world should anyone else care what his room looks like.

All I can say is, this is just another area to spend money in. What does it matter if he wants to spend oodles of money on anime-chara goods? Its just another option of choice to splurge on.
Examples of other options: Cars, shoes, clothes, books, games, consoles, toys, drugs, weapons, guns, knives, swords, antique goods, relics etc. etc.
This guy may of gone a little overboard but if he did it because he liked/wanted to, thats fine with me and i applaud him. Only problem with excessive spending on things is if you're doing it to impress other people and only because its the 'in' thing to do. Thats just stupid.

That room looks quite fine if the posters would all be taken off and instead stored as a book or such. There's no need to stick them everywhere. As long as you've got a computer you can get your anime girls pictures at any time =)
instead of hanging up a bunch of posters he should hang up a bunch of monitors so he can keep changing the pictures anytime all the time :3
